Roy painted this combat scene in Beijing China at the China Aviation Museum where he was able to have full access to the museum's resources in this endeavor. This original oil painting depicts General Han Decai's shootdown in his MiG-15 bis of Double Ace Hal Fischer's F-86, as Hal Fischer shot down Decai's wingman during the Korean War. Once adversaries, the two have become very dear friends.
