Thanks again for visiting our website! Some exciting news to report, Roy is very busy these days, working closely with the American Fighter Aces Association on a new project to benefit the Ace's Scholarship Fund. This is a whole new series of prints featuring some of the Ace's who have not had their combats painted as yet in the AFAA collection. The Ace's included in the new Gold Star Edition are Bud Anderson, Swede Vejtasa, Robinson Risner, Frank Gailer, Jim Empey, John Loisel, Jim Swett, John Alison, Joe Forster, Flash Gordon, Bill Hardy, Kelly Gross, "Jack" Jones, Tex Hill, and many others. The first two releases will be "I'll Be Darned!" featuring the combat of P-51 Ace BgGen. Frank Gailer where he shot down a FW-190 and in losing control, it crashed into his wingman, causing both aircraft to plummet to the ground (show jpg of image Chris). Another new image will "Two Zeros for Barbara Ann" featuring P-38 Ace George Chandler (show the image jpg Chris) The prints will be in a slightly smaller format of 17" x 22" and will be limited to 300 S&N lithographs. They will retail at the very affordable price of $95.00 and the best part is that all the profits will go to the Ace's Scholarship Fund.
Here is a photo from a recent luncheon with some of the San Antonio Aces, where Roy presented the original painting "I'll be Darned!" to BgGen. Frank Gailer.

Roy, P-38 Ace George Chandler and one of the directors of the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial as they honor America's First WW-1 Ace Ace Raoul Lufbery, Summer of 2006.

Roy in Paris, France, 2006
Roy and I were in France for 6 weeks last Summer, hosted by our special friends of the French Wing, Commemorative Air Force, Midland, Texas. One of the main reasons we were there was to attend a ceremony at the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial to honor Raoul Lufbery, America's First WW-1 Ace. P-38 Ace George Chandler and his Executive Assistant Cheryl White joined us as well as Cliff Neve, a Member of the Board of the American Fighter Aces Association, Producer Matt Simek, Bernard and Fumiko Delfino, and Philippe and Danielle Duflot, of the French Wing. Here are some photographs of that event at the Lafayette Escadrille Memorial. We also had the opportunity to visit Normandie and the D-Day Landing Sites while we were there. A special lithograph commemorating Raoul Lufbery's Fifth Victory is available. It is entitled "America's First Ace" and it is signed by a minimum of 25 Aces.
